Tufnol blocks can be cut or made in any grade of Tufnol although we specialise in the two main grades in the SRBP which are IP/13 and Kite grade Tufnol. We also specialise in the SRBF grade of Whale brand Tufnol blocks. We can offer Tufnol blocks cut to any size required.

Tufnol blocks for gears
Tufnol blocks are specified for manufacturing gears, this is because of the manufacturing process involved which provides a much stronger tooth for gears and also Tufnol blocks provide gears and are shock resistant, excellent wear resistance and quiet in operation.

Tufnol blocks for marine applications
Tufnol blocks are acceptable for above waterline marine applications, it is not advisable to use Tufnol blocks in below waterline applications as there may be degradation. Because of the manufacturing process involved, particularly the lamination process, Tufnol blocks are exceptionally strong.

Tufnol blocks for wear applications
Tufnol blocks are excellent for wear applications and can be lubricated with the usual oils or grease, it can also be lubricated with water which makes Tufnol blocks fairly unique.
